Banker Bonnie
As the wife of Banker Bob, you help him to run the Bank of Deadwood. Although your husband has always been a businessman at heart, lately his business seems to be occupying all of his heart, leaving no room for you. At first, you withdrew from your husband and started spending more time at the saloon. With your absence from the bank, you were hoping that Bob would miss you and become jealous of the time you were devoting to other matters. When Bob had no reaction to your absence, you went to more extreme measures. Earlier this week you staged a hold-up in your bank with Barb Cassidy (an outlaw). Over the noon hour, when you were certain that Bob would be away, you arranged for Barb Cassidy to rob your safe at gunpoint. Although you knew your life was not in danger, Bob did not. With your life threatened, you figured Bob would realize how important you are to him, but that did not happen. After the hold-up, all that Bob cares about is finding the culprit and his lost money. Now it seems that you are going to have to make sure more than ever that your secrets stay hidden from Bob. If Bob knew what you had done to his business and his money, you fear Bob would leave you. Luckless and out of love, the only thing that you have to cling to is your pride and your money. Many people in town, Henrietta High-Stakes (Harry’s wife) in particular, think of you as snotty and that you lord your money over them, but you do not find that to be the case. While spending time at the saloon, you have noticed that Harry has some very devoted employees, in particular, Sally Starr (a saloon girl). With the saloon close to foreclosure, you worry about the jobs of everyone in the saloon.
With the Deadwood Poker Tournament in town, you are hoping to make some new friends to help you relieve the pain of your failing marriage. If your husband does not start giving you the attention you deserve, you may just take the money from the bank robbery and start your own new life.
Acting and Dressing Your Part:
As the bank owner’s wife, you are arrogant and snotty at times. Since you come from a marriage of wealth, you will dress in a more fanciful dress and less rugged than most women of the West.
